Isaiah 54:13; "All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children."

Dear Parents,
First off sorry the letter is a late week and thank you again for taking time to read this month's newsletter. Well now that it's May; CKC is over for the year. So now it's time for Children's Chapel which began this past Wednesday night. I often get asked the question; "Is there still Children's Ministry during the summer on Wednesday nights?" Yes there is, it is called Children's Chapel. In case you are wondering this is what goes on at Children's Chapel, we start out with worship, after worship, we have a Bible study in which I use media and fun visual illustrations for the kids (this summer I will be teaching through Psalms), after the Bible study we do a game that has to do with the Bible study, then we raffle off prizes, after the game; the kids go back to their classrooms where they discuss the Bible study in a small group with a leader in which they all pray for a certain topic each week. Every year we see great spiritual growth in the kids, God does a awesome work every year. This past Wednesday we had our first Children's Chapel of the year, each week I give a chance for the kids to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior this past Wednesday we had 2 kids respond to the altar call, I thank God for the work He did. Afterwards when the kids broke off in small groups, most of the groups were still praying when the parents came to pick their children up. I always tell people that Children's chapel is my favorate time of the year, because I just love being able to teach the kids every week, and watch God do His work in His precious sheep. I would just like to encourage all of you to still come to church as a family during the summer (Hebrews 10:24-25; "And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.". Also this month is the last month to get your child signed up for Children's Camp which is going to be July 7-11, the cost of camp is $190.
